The Power to Improve program guides those affected by violence towards economic, emotional and physical self-sufficiency. Since the vast majority of cases of domestic violence also involve a component of financial abuse, Hopeline recognizes that in order to achieve long-term safety and quality of life, survivors may require assistance in achieving educational and employment goals.
The Power to Improve program is available to survivors who are unemployed or underemployed due to lack of training, experience, or opportunity. These services include assistance with going back to school, resume assistance and interview skills, budgeting and financial planning, and more.
