Peace on the Pasquotank - Domestic Violence Awareness Month Event
Join Albemarle Hopeline as we kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month at our annual "Peace on the Pasquotank" ceremony honoring victims and survivors of intimate partner violence.
The event includes guest speakers, including Hopeline Executive Director Courtney Cottrell and Pasquotank Sheriff Tommy Wooten, who will share information on the effects of domestic violence on our community, and services available to victims.
This event ends with a flower ceremony where attendees release flowers into the Pasquotank River as a message of hope and healing to survivors.
This event is free and open to the public.
