National Night Out is an event held across the nation to promote crime prevention, police-community partnerships and neighborhood unity. It is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watches and co-sponsored by law enforcement agencies all across the nation. Over 37.5 million people and more than 15,704 communities joined forces during the observation of National Night out Against Crime last year in an attempt to make their neighborhoods crime and gang free.
